Picks from GoGamer’s 48-Hour Madness
Another week, another GoGamer 48 Hour Madness Sale. I wonder if they get tired of the regular cycle of insanity over there.
Flipping through the picks, and looking for ‘cheap and don’t suck’ gets us down to a fairly thin list, show below, with their GameRanking score:
- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas / PC : $7.90 (91)
- Lego Batman / PC : $14.90 (82)
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine / PC : $12.90 (78)
- Battlestations: Midway / PC : $4.90 (76)
- Europa Universalis: Rome / PC : $9.90 (76)
- Overlord 2 / PC : $9.90 (76)
- Neopets Puzzle Adventure / PC : $9.90 (76)
Assuming you’ve already played GTA: San Andreas, and you were locked in the GoGamer warehouse, I might recommend Overlord 2. Here’s what Wikipedia had to say:
Continuing the style of the series, the game is set in a fantasy realm where players take the role of the Overlord, a mysterious evil warrior whose goal is to destroy and conquer the land by commanding hordes of small gremlin-like creatures known as “Minions”. The story directly follows the events of the first Overlord game, with the succeeding Overlord rising to power opposing a Roman-styled military power known as the “Glorious Empire”. The story was written by Rhianna Pratchett (daughter of Terry Pratchett) and keeps a satirical tone and dark humor towards the fantasy setting and genre.
